NEW TECHNOLOGY
CERTIFIED AS A MEDICAL DEVICE — SEPTEMBER 2026
Carlo Michelini is the Founder and CEO of the Italian company CMed Aesthetics and one of the key figures behind the development of the patented NTS® – Non-Thermal Stress Technology. NTS® is an innovative non-thermal sterilization method for sensitive bioactive formulations, which received certification only recently, in September 2026. It uses sterile vacuum ultrafiltration without exposure to high temperatures, helping to preserve the original structure, viscosity and biological activity of hyaluronic acid, peptides and vitamins. The technology also supports the stability and quality of products throughout their shelf life.
Through NTS®, Carlo Michelini brings a new perspective to the processing of active ingredients in aesthetic medicine: what matters is not only their composition, but also how they are protected throughout the manufacturing process. At the IMEC Aesthetic Congress, he will present the scientific principles behind NTS®, its importance for the quality of biorevitalization products, and its use in the development of a new generation of treatments, including BioReFeel®.
Carlo Michelini, Founder and CEO of CMed Aesthetics, is one of the creators of the patented two-phase BioRePeelCl₃® technology. It combines a lipophilic protective phase with a hydrophilic phase containing TCA, other acids, amino acids, vitamins and GABA. The result is a professional treatment that combines exfoliation with biostimulating, revitalizing, moisturizing and antioxidant effects.

THE GLP-1 PATIENT JOURNEY:
FROM BIOLOGICAL PREPAREDNESS TO STRUCTURAL RESTORATION
GLP-1 treatments have introduced a new category of aesthetic patients, in whom rapid weight loss can lead to soft-tissue volume loss, skin laxity and changes in facial and body contours. However, achieving an optimal aesthetic outcome requires more than simply restoring volume — the foundation is to first restore the biological readiness of the tissues.
The lecture will present a practical clinical algorithm for the assessment and management of patients taking GLP-1, including laboratory diagnostics, identification of nutritional and metabolic deficiencies, and tissue preparation through amino acid replacement therapy.
It will also demonstrate how regenerative protocols can be combined with hyaluronic acid, collagen stimulators and device-based technologies to improve tissue quality, optimize treatment outcomes and achieve natural, long-lasting rejuvenation of the face and body.
SKIN LONGEVITY AND REGENERATIVE MEDICINE
HOW LONG CAN SKIN STAY YOUNG?
SKIN LONGEVITY AND THE ART OF SUPPORTING ITS NATURAL REGENERATION
What if the future of anti-aging is not about what we add to the skin, but how long we can preserve its ability to regenerate, maintain vitality and support cellular renewal?
From inflammaging to active regeneration — how polynucleotides can help improve tissue quality, and why proper biological preparation of the skin is key to achieving better results when combined with collagen stimulators and device-based treatments.
Polynucleotides as biological priming against inflammaging and as the foundation for synergy with device-based technologies and collagen biostimulators.

TOPICS
HIGH GLAMOUR PROTOCOLS
Time-planned treatments for maximum visual impact – for celebrities, brides, and preparation before important events.
This topic is highly attractive for clients preparing for a wedding, gala evening, photoshoot, television appearance, social event, or another important occasion. What matters is not only which treatment to choose, but also when to perform it, so that the result is optimal on the specific day and the risk of swelling, bruising, or a result that looks too fresh is minimized. The presentation can explain how to create a treatment timeline several weeks to months before the event and how to properly combine injectable treatments, biostimulation, hydration, and other aesthetic procedures.
Benefits for the client: better-timed and more predictable results, a fresher and more photogenic appearance on the day of the event, a lower risk of temporary unwanted effects immediately before the event, and an overall more sophisticated preparation instead of a “last-minute” treatment.
THE GOOD RESULTS OR RIGHT RESULTS?
A regenerative system for long-term results, not just a short-term effect.
This topic can explain to clients the difference between a result that is merely visible and a result that is also natural, long-lasting, and appropriate for the individual patient. Not every client needs more volume or a more aggressive correction. Sometimes it is more important to first improve the biological quality of the tissue, hydration, regeneration, and collagen support. The presentation can demonstrate that the right aesthetic treatment should not change the face into “someone else’s,” but rather restore its quality, proportions, and healthier appearance. Benefits for the client: a lower risk of an unnatural result, a more individualized treatment plan, longer-term improvement in skin and tissue quality, and a result that respects the client’s age, anatomy, and natural expression.

BYPASSING THE STANDARDS: SMART MANAGEMENT OF STUBBORN FAT
Beyond the Reach: How to Defeat Fat Traps Without Classic Devices
Resistant fat deposits represent one of the most challenging areas of aesthetic medicine — particularly in cases where patients do not achieve the desired results despite lifestyle modifications, or where localized fat persists in anatomically challenging areas.
This lecture will present an alternative strategic approach to the management of localized fat deposits without the use of conventional fat-reduction devices. The focus will be on accurate diagnosis of the type and location of adipose tissue, the anatomical specifics of individual “fat traps,” and the selection of an appropriate therapeutic strategy tailored to each patient.
The lecture will explore pharmacological, injectable and combined approaches, including their mechanisms of action, indications, limitations and safety considerations. It will also focus on areas that often remain beyond the capabilities of standard technologies — small and resistant fat deposits, contour irregularities and challenging anatomical zones.
Practical examples of how to create a personalized treatment plan, when to choose monotherapy and when to combine different approaches, how to set realistic patient expectations, and how to minimize the risk of irregularities or undesirable aesthetic outcomes.
From “fat trap” to strategic planning: how to approach localized fat when conventional solutions are not enough.

JALUPRO SYSTEM: HYDRATION, FIRMING, STIMULATION AND LONGEVITY
FROM LIGAMENTS TO THE DERMIS
Why choose a therapy that combines multiple goals into one comprehensive approach? This lecture focuses on Jalupro System in relation to hydration, firming, stimulation, and longevity. It explores the topic from the ligaments to the dermis, emphasizing the importance of considering not only the skin itself but also its supporting structures when planning treatments. The focus is on integrating these goals into a cohesive aesthetic strategy.
BIOREVITALIZATION AND FILLERS? YES!
But without a biostimulating peel, the skin can never achieve that radiant, smooth, and rejuvenated appearance! This lecture explores the combination of biorevitalization and fillers with a biostimulating peel. It focuses on the difference between volume correction and the quality of the skin’s surface — its radiance, smoothness, and rejuvenated appearance. The topic emphasizes the importance of incorporating peeling into a comprehensive approach to aesthetic results and combining surface skin care with biorevitalization and volumizing procedures.

TOPIC
ANATOMY OF HIGH-RISK FACIAL AREAS
HOW TO INJECT FILLERS SAFELY AND PREVENT COMPLICATIONS
Safe application of dermal fillers begins with a detailed understanding of anatomy. The lecture will focus on high-risk anatomical areas of the face, the course of vascular and neural structures, and critical zones where incorrect injection techniques can lead to serious complications.
It will also provide a practical perspective on treatment planning, appropriate technique selection, and safety principles when administering fillers in different areas of the face. Particular attention will be given to recognizing the early warning signs of vascular complications and the appropriate approach to their management.
PERIPHERAL ANCHORING STRATEGY
RESTORATION OF THE TEMPORAL REGION AND LOWER THIRD OF THE FACE
A STRATEGY FOR PREVENTING OVERFILLED FACE SYNDROME
Modern dermal filler techniques are no longer based solely on replacing lost volume. The Peripheral Anchoring Strategy introduces a concept of working with peripheral structural support points of the face, with the aim of restoring natural architecture, proportions, and tissue direction without excessive volume in the central face.
The lecture will focus on the temporal region and the lower third of the face — two key areas where appropriate correction can significantly influence overall facial balance and perception. Particular attention will be given to anatomical planning, the selection of appropriate injection points, volume distribution, and the gradual creation of tissue support.
A practical perspective will demonstrate how to work with peripheral structures to achieve a lifting effect, contour harmonization, and natural restoration of proportions, rather than simply adding volume across the face.
The lecture will also introduce the concept of Overfilled Face Syndrome — why it occurs, which planning errors contribute to it, and how a proper anchoring strategy can help prevent it.
From adding volume to restoring support: how the right strategic points can transform the outcome of facial aesthetic correction.
